REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

Quotations are hereby requested for THE PROVISION OF SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES TO THE QAMATA MECHANISATION CENTRE FOR A PERIOD OF TWO MONTHS ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF REFERENCE below:

  • Grade C dayshift Guard 1
  • Grade B Nightshift Guard 1
  • The contracted service provider will be responsible for their officers’ back up services and for visible patrolling around the Qamata Office premises.
  • Deployed Security Officers must have clearly identifiable uniform and valid communication gadget(s).
  • Security incidents reports must be submitted to CHDA within a period of 12 hours and the consolidated Security Services Report with necessary findings and recommendations must be submitted with the Invoice after the one-month contract period.
  • Crime incidents must be reported to SAPS by the services provider in consultation with CHDA within a period of 24 hours.
  • When negligence of Security Officers has been identified, the contracted services provider will be accountable for related losses and damages to the CHDA and its personnel property.
  • The Security Officers must be deployed to Site within a period of 24 hours after the purchase order has been awarded.

Main requirements will be the following:

  • The Security Systems and Services Providers must be registered with PSIRA and submit the copy of their valid registration documents.
  • Service Providers must submit copies of their valid Liability Insurance Policy Cover.

COMPULSORY SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS, EVEN IF THEY WERE SUBMITTED BEFORE

  • Submit a copy of the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration summary report.
  • Service providers should also complete & submit the MBD 4 form to declare the interest of the Directors of the Company.
  • Submit a valid SARS Tax Pin document.
  • If a supplier is not a VAT vendor, VAT must not be included, otherwise all the prices must include VAT.

 Evaluation criteria (Only applicable to quotations equal to/ above R2 000.00)

  • This is an 80/20 preference points system.
  • Price is allocated up to 80 points & 20 points will be allocated as follows:
  • Black ownership (Max. 10 points)
  • 10 points for black owned company, confirmable by proof of CSD registration and certified ID copy(ies) of entity’s director(s)
  • Nil points for no black ownership
  • Locality (MAX. 5 points)
  • 5 points will be allocated to service providers within CHD jurisdiction, confirmable by valid proof of address/lease agreements/rates account statement
  • Nil points outside CHD jurisdiction.
  • Youth ownership (Max. 2.5 points)
  • 5 points, confirmable by proof of CSD registration and certified ID copy(ies) of entity’s director(s)
  • No points if above age of youth
  • Disability (Max. 2.5 points)
  • 5 points for the people living with disabilities, confirmable by certification document from a medical practitioner.
  • Nil points for people with no disabilities.
